Hier fing 2014- 2015 alles an.

I chose to play for the Berlin Rebels because it is a great opportunity to continue to play this game and develop as a quarterback. In addition, I thought there was no better way to travel to Germany/Europe than by visiting while playing the game of football!”

Wie gefällt dir Berlin bisher?

„I have enjoyed my time in Berlin so far and I look forward to getting to know this great city better. I will help this team in any way I can to achieve our goal of winning a German Bowl Championship!”

Was denkst du über dein neues Team bisher?

„The team consists of talented and tough players, I enjoy working with them every day to improve as a team and player!”

Was erwartest du vom kommenden Spiel gegen die Kiel Baltic Hurricanes?

„I expect us to compete as a team with an attitude of aiming for excellence!”

We are ready! Are you?

english version:

Two days before our next gameday comes up we have a little surprise.

Of course there are already rumors everywhere (yes, we read the posts in the forum) and one or the other attentive fan has certainly seen him already.

From now on QB Kurt Palandech will lead the Offense of the Berlin Rebels together with QB Terrell Robinson.

The 24-year-old American from Plainfield / Illinios will make our Offense even more variable, even stronger and more dangerous.

Palandech and HC Kim Kuci were connected by our DC Dean Cokinos and actually the plan was havin also Kurt right from the beginning, because HC Kim Kuci and also QB / WR Coach Cliff Madison were very excited about him.

Kurt, however, was still under contract with the Cedar Rapids Kings (IFL), scoring 18 passing TDs and 4 Rushing TDs in 8 games. Not a bad cut.

Kurt started at the age of 6 with Flag Football. As it´s common in the United States. His talent was apparently recognized and encouraged very early.

His first college was Laney College / Oakland California - a public community college. Everything started here in 2014- 2015.

The team became Valley Conference Champions with Palandech throwing 17 TDs for 1.1634 yards and 5 TDs rushing.

That this talent did not remain hidden for the well-known D1 Universites was foreseeable and so we went to the University of Nevada / Las Vegas (UNLV)

And again, he throw 14 touchdowns and rushes for 9. You see Kurt also seems to fit in perfectly with the Rebel´s game system. Because as well as his teammate he is more than variable use.

Kurt has been in Berlin for a few weeks now and we asked him a few questions:

Kurt, how did it happen that you decided to come to Berlin and play for the Berlin Rebels?

"I chose to play for the Berlin Rebels because it's a great opportunity to continue playing this game and develop as a quarterback. In addition, I thought there was no better way to travel to Germany / Europe than visiting while playing the game of football! "

How do you like Berlin so far?

"I have enjoyed my time in Berlin so far and I look forward to getting to know this great city better. I want to help this team in any way I can achieve our goal of winning a German Bowl Championship! "

What do you think about your new team so far?

"The team of talented and tough players, I enjoy working with them every day to improve as a team and player!"

What do you expect from the upcoming game against the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes?

"I expect to compete as a team with an attitude of aiming for excellence!"

If you want to see Kurt in action for the first time, you'll be in the stadium on Sunday to support his team.

Kick Off is at 3:00pm and guests are as already mentioned the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes.

We are ready! Are you?
